Able kidz Educational Trust

Educational grants available to children and young people aged 18 and under who are living with a disability in the UK. Grants are to assist with education costs, particularly:

  • Extra tuition for individual Children
  • Providing computers or other specialist educational equipment for both schools an individual children
  • Providing educational software to schools and individual children

Who is eligible?

Children and young adults under the age of 18 who have disabilities and need financial help with their education.

Please note: We can only award grants for educational purposes. 

We can't help with items such as white goods or medical treatment.

How to apply?

Please write to the Grants Officer to the address below. Please include the following details:

  • A summary of the child’s circumstances and how Able Kidz might help
  • An outline of the costs involved
  • A letter in support of the application from a teacher or educational professional. 

Able Kidz is a small charity run by volunteers. We do our best to help as many children as possible, but unfortunately we can’t always help all applicants, even if they are eligible.

Please note: Due to the number of applications being received, Able Kidz will only acknowledge applications if successful. The Trustees meet quarterly to discuss applications, therefore if you haven’t heard from us within 12 weeks you can assume your application was not successful.
