Air Pilots Benevolent Fund

Grants are available for British citizens in need who have worked as Air Pilots or Air Navigators in commercial aviation. Grants are also available to Liverymen, Upper Freemen or Freemen or the Guild or Air Pilots and Air Navigators. Educational grants are available for dependents of deceased Air Pilots and Air Navigators.

In the past, grants have been given to fund visits to a distant hospital, to enable people to continue living at home and to fund revalidation of licenses in order to re-enter employment.

Please note: The Benevolent Fund does not directly fund the costs of flying training. Instead, contact the company's Scholarship Committee: http://www.airpilots.org/career-matters/scholarships/
