The Armchair van operates within three miles of Worcester City Centre, collecting donations and recycling them to people in need, especially the homeless upon being re-housed.

Who is eligible?

As a general rule, the charity may help only if the client is unable to afford the item(s) requested and there is no statutory help available or it has been refused. Applicants are also requested to ask friends and family for help before approaching the charity. 

Applicants must also be living within three miles of Worcester City.

Armchair does not help with electrical goods, carpets, clothing, bedding, crockery, cutlery etc.

How to apply?

Applicants need to be referred to Armchair via health visitors, social workers, probation officers etc.
