Arthur Townrow Pensions Fund

Grants are available for women aged forty or older, have no children and have never married or are widows and are in financial need. Grants are also available to widows of all ages if they have children.

Applicants must live in Chesterfield, Bolsover or North East Derbyshire.

Applicants must also either be a member of the Church of England or a member of a Protestant Church which acknowledges the Holy Trinity as taught in the Church of England.

Who is eligible?

You may be eligible if you are a member of the Church of England or a Protestant Church, you live in Chesterfield, Bolsover or North East Derbyshire and you are one of the following:

  • Aged forty or over, never married and don't have children
  • Aged forty or over, widowed and don't have children
  • You are widowed and have children

The Fund gives priority to older applicants.
