Benevolent Association for the Relief of Decayed Tradesmen, their Widows and Orphans

Grants are available for people who are in financial need and live in the city of Norwich or the parishes of Costessey, Earlham, Hellesdon, Catton, Sprowston, Thorpe St Andrew, Trowse with Newton and Cringleford. The organisation prioritises people who have worked in the area. People who apply should be working, or have a reason that they are not working, for example because of an illness.

The charity only gives grants for a specific item that an individual needs, for example white goods or carpeting. If an application is successful the charity will put the individual in contact with another organisation who will provide the item. The charity will then pay for the item.

The charity does not give money, or pay for rent or housing benefits.
