Bowdler’s Educational Foundation

Grants are available to children and young people under the age of 25 who live in the county of Shropshire and need financial assistance with their education or training. Small grants of up to £200 can help with the cost of:

  • books, equipment, clothing or travel to school
  • school, college or university fees or to supplement existing grants
  • education, training, apprenticeship or equipment for those starting work.

Who is eligible?

Children and young people aged 24 and under who live in the county of Shropshire and need financial assistance with their education or training. The Foundation gives priority to people who live in Shrewsbury.

Shropshire County Council administers this fund. Contact the Council to request an application form.
