Brentford & Chiswick Merged Charities

One-off grants for people who live in Brentford or Chiswick who have an illness or disability and are in financial need.

The maximum grant amount is £300. In the past the charities have helped with:

  • Expenses or items needed because of a sickness or disability
  • Costs associated with special needs
  • Educational purposes
  • Expenses for visiting people in hospital
  • Furniture and bedding
  • Food and clothing
  • Replacing white goods

Who is eligible?

People who live in Brentford or Chiswick who have an illness or disability and are in financial need.

What we can't help with

No grants to pay off arrears or utility bills. The charities can't help with anything that a statutory authority should provide, for example housing costs for which housing benefit is available.

How to apply?

On an application form available through the Brentford and Chiswick Merged Charities website

The application form must be signed by a professional person such as a vicar, social worker, teacher or doctor.

Applications are considered all year round.
