Grants for women in financial need who live in Salisbury. Applications can be considered for

  • household items including kitchen appliances, furniture,
  • clothing and school uniform,
  • beds, bedding and carpets,
  • specialist disability/mobility aids and equipment,
  • hospital visits,
  • removal costs
  • and funeral expenses.
  • The charity is able to assist those under 25 resident in the Salisbury area who require assistance with projects, school trips, books, course fees, etc.

Please note that the charity can't help with repaying debts or paying for items that have already been paid for. The charity can't give grants for anything that should be provided by statutory sources, such as the NHS.

Who is eligible?

Women in financial need who live in the city of Salisbury.

The charity is able to assist those under 25 resident in the Salisbury area who require assistance with projects, school trips, books, course fees, etc.

Please note that the charity can't help with repaying debts or paying for items that have already been paid for. The charity can't give grants for anything that should be provided by statutory sources, such as the NHS.

How to apply?

Applications should be submitted by a sponsor, such as a social worker or health care professional. Download an application form from the Salisbury City Almshouses and Welfare Charities' website: http://www.salisburyalmshouses.co.uk/grants.htm

Applications are considered monthly. Please note that the charity does not contact unsuccessful applicants.
