Chew’s Foundation at Dunstable

Educational grants for young people who live in Dunstable. To be able to apply, the young person's family need to be on a low income and belong to the the Church of England or other Christian faiths.

Grants are for educational costs, including equipment and clothing.

Who is eligible?

Students whose families are on a low income, living within the Dunstable area, and whose parents belong to the the Church of England or other Christian faiths.

If you have applied for a Ashton Schools Foundation Grant you are not eligible for a grant from Chews Foundation.

How to apply?

Grants are limited to a maximum of four per child.

Proof that you are in receipt of Housing Benefit is required. However, if you are on a low income and not on Housing Benefit, you should contact the clerk to arrange an interview and complete a finance form.

Applications normally close at the beginning of May and payments are sent in July.

Applications can be requested directly from the foundation or downloaded from the Association of Dunstable Charities website
