Cystic Fibrosis Trust

Grants to help with welfare and improving quality of life purposes for people in need who have cystic fibrosis. Grants are available include:

Emergency Grants: Help with funeral costs, costs during hospitalisation while having a transplant or assessment, small grants for emergencies such as emergency household repairs or unexpected travel costs

Health and Wellbeing Grants: Help to purchase goods or services which can improve the health and quality of life of people living with cystic fibrosis.

Holiday Grants: Cost of holidays, trips and short breaks for people aged 18 and over who have cystic fibrosis.

Who is eligible?

People in need in the UK who have cystic fibrosis.

Grants available include:

Applications for health and wellbeing grants and holiday grants are considered in January, March, May, July, September and November. Emergency grants will normally be made within a week of receiving the application.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust runs a confidential helpline offers a listening ear, as well as information and support on any aspect of cystic fibrosis, including financial support such as benefits and our welfare grants.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust has a new service that puts parents, carers and family members in touch with a trained parent volunteer who you can talk to in confidence about having a child with cystic fibrosis. CF Connect volunteers are all parents of children with CF, so as well as offering a listening ear, advice and support, and the chance to share experiences, they also understand the challenges you may be facing. To connect with another parent through CF Connect contact our helpline on 0300 373 1000 or helpline@cysticfibrosis.org.uk.
