Edinburgh Police Fund for Children

Grants of up to £50 are available to provide clothing and footwear to children in need in the city of Edinburgh.

Other support for children and, exceptionally, adults may be offered from time to time if so decided by the Trustees.

Who is eligible?

A family with school-age children who live in the city of Edinburgh can apply for a grant or voucher from the Fund. The child must live in the City of Edinburgh.

How to apply?

Normally, a professional such as a social worker, health visitor, community or district nurse, or a head/guidance teacher.

Families can apply directly, but please note that a home visit assessment will be undertaken by a police officer. If a family applies directly and is awarded a grant, they will be given a voucher and will need to provide a receipt.
