Exeter Advancement in Life Charity

Grants are available for young people aged UNDER 25 whose permanent domiciled home address is within a 15 mile radius of Exeter centre (Guildhall) and need help with paying for educational or training costs.

Grants are for educational purposes, such as: 

  • the purchase of clothing, tools, books and other course equipment
  • help towards fees and relevant expenses at recognised schools, training colleges and universities.

Please note: we do not give grants to pay bills/debts in arrears.

Who is eligible?

The charity does not give cash grants and payments are made to suppliers only.

What the charity doesn't fund

Grants are not given to pay bills/debts in arrears.

How to apply?

Applications must be sent by post, electronic applications will not be accepted.

Successful applicants will be invited for interview as soon as possible.  However, please note that interviews and grants are not guaranteed.

The charity replies to all applicants, whether or not they can help.
