One-off grants and scholarship bursaries are available for residents of the Highlands and Islands for people wishing to develop their career in aviation.

Who is eligible?

Residents of the Highlands and Islands who wish to qualify in aviation as a pilot, engineer, or air traffic controller. Please note:  Pilot training support is normally restricted to ground school costs associated with a commercial license, but exceptions can be made at the Trust's discretion especially regarding a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL) or Air Training Corps (ATC) cadets who are just short of hours for the current Flying Scholarship.
