Help for Heroes

If you have suffered a Service attributable injury or illness in the UK Armed Forces, Help for Heroes may be able to help you and your family with financial support.

The charity's Quick Reaction Fund (QRF) can help by giving swift financial support to alleviate the distress caused by injury or help you on your road to recovery.

Grants could be provided for:

  • Housing adaptations

  • Sports Recovery equipment and activities

  • White and brown goods (e.g. household items such as fridges or washing machines and electronic items such as TVs, radios, computers)

  • Vocational and employment opportunities

  • Respite breaks

  • Childcare

  • And so much more.

Help for Heroes can also offer support for a range of other needs including career recovery, fellowship, mental health and sports recovery. For more information, visit the Help for Heroes website.

Who is eligible?

People who have served in the UK Armed Forces who have suffered a Service attributable injury or illness and their families.
