Hertfordshire Community Foundation

Grants for families who live in Hertfordshire and have children between 0-16 years of age who are affected by disability or are in need. Grants can be up to £300 and are for household essentials such as washing machines, cookers and beds to ensure they can keep their children healthy, safe and clean.

The Hertfordshire Community Foundation also gives grants to charities and voluntary organisations working in Hertfordshire.

Who is eligible?

Families who live in Hertfordshire and have children between 0-16 years of age who are affected by disability or are in need.

No grants for debts, clothing or school uniform, holidays or school trips, carpeting or curtains, general furniture or gardening equipment. No grants for items that have already been paid for.

How to apply?

Grants for individuals must be applied through an intermediary, for example a social worker or health visitor. Download an application form from the Hertfordshire Community Foundation website

Organisations that are applying for grants can apply directly.

Other information

Most of our funding programmes are aimed at local charitable and voluntary groups but we do have some funding available for individuals.
