Hull Education Foundation

The Kingston-upon-Hull Education Foundation has two funds:

The Hull Education Foundation 

The Hull Education Foundation helps young people between the ages of 13 and 25 who are attending, or have attended a Hull school or academy. To be able to able you should live in Hull, or have parents who live there.

The Foundation might be able to help if you are studying in secondary, further or higher education. They may also be able to help if you are in training.

The Foundation can help with the costs of clothing, tools or instruments.

 

Leon Salinger Award

The Leon Salinger Award assists students under the age of 25 who are starting a music course at a university or music college. To be able to apply you should:

  • Live in Hull
  • Be attending, or have attended a Hull School
  • Entering your first year of a music course at university or a music college

If you are doing a Foundation course, please don't apply to the Leon Salinger Award.

How to apply?

Download an application form from Hull council's website and send the completed form by post. Call of email the foundation for more information.

Applications are considered in October and February. The closing date for this trust is the last week in October and the middle of February.
