One-off grants for people in need who live in the town of Shaftesbury.

Grants have been given for the following items:

  • Computer equipment
  • Employment training costs
  • Hospital travel expenses
  • Installation of telephone helplines
  • Purchase of play equipment
  • Purchase of books and tools
  • Home broadband connections
  • Funding towards wheelchairs
  • Equipment for the disabled
  • Essential Household Goods
  • Essential Furnishings

Around 15 grants a year are made ranging from £30 to £500.

People in need who live in the town of Shaftesbury.

No grants are given for items/services that are the responsibility of the state.
