Kelsick’s Educational Foundation

Educational grants for young people under the age of 25 who have lived in the Lakes Parish (including Ambleside, Grasmere, Langdale and Troutbeck north of Trout Beck) for at least four years.

What we give grants for:

  • Extra help at school for pupils with special needs

  • Music lessons or hire of musical instruments

  • Travel costs for certain educational trips

  • Tools, equipment and extra training for apprentices or working trainees

  • First year student purchase of a computer

  • Books for A level, college and university courses

Who is eligible?

Young people under the age of 25 who have lived in the Lakes Parish (including Ambleside, Grasmere, Langdale and Troutbeck north of Trout Beck).

Please note: The Foundation does not give grants for tuition fees.

  • August (deadline end of July)
