Lady Betty Martin Fund

Grants are given to children and young people aged under 25 who live in the North East of England and need financial assistance to pursue arts activities.

In the past, the fund has given grants for:

  • Costs towards attending courses / art fair / residential / summer school
  • Individual music lessons
  • Buying equipment needed for an arts activity
  • Costs towards an arts related experience

Who is eligible?

Children and young people aged under 25 who live in the North East of England and need help ton fund their arts activities.

How to apply?

Apply online on the Community Foundation Serving Tyne & Wear and Northumberland's website. You will need to register to apply online.

You will need to provide a reference to show your commitment to the art form. The reference might be from someone like your music teacher.

The deadline for applications is in the first week of November. Applications are considered in December.
