Lady Elizabeth Hastings’ Non-Educational Charity

Grants are available for Church of England Clergy and their families who live or work in the former counties of Yorkshire, Westmorland, Cumberland and Northumberland. The charity gives grants to clergy, licensed lay workers and members of religious orders within the Church of England who are in need. The charity can also help dependents of clergy.

Who is eligible?

Clergy, licensed lay workers and members of religious orders within the Church of England who live in  the former counties of Yorkshire, Westmorland, Cumberland and Northumberland. The charity also awards grants to their dependents.

How to apply?

Contact your local Archdeacon or Bishop to submit an application on your behalf. Please note that individuals should not apply directly. Applications are considered four times a year.
