Leeke Educational Foundation

Grants are available for young people who:

  • are aged 16 to 24
  • are in need of financial assistance through low family income and/or difficult circumstances
  • reside, or whose parents/carers reside, within the boundaries of the City of Lincoln. Please note that applicants who move to Lincoln from outside the area, to study, are not eligible

The charity provides one-off and recurrent grants in the range of £160 to £480 each term. The Foundation supports, for example, those attending school, apprenticeships, traineeships, internships, access/foundation courses, further education college, university.

Grants may be awarded to support:

  • fees, equipment, tools, books, travel costs and other costs directly associated with courses of study, or training for a profession, trade or calling. Please note that the trustees do not normally award one-off grants for the purchase of a computer/laptop.
  • costs incurred in using leisure time to develop spiritual, moral, physical and mental health well-being

In determining any award the trustees have regard to the promotion of education in accordance with the principles of the Church of England, but this should not deter applicants of other Christian denominations, other faiths, or none
