Leicester Indigent Old Age Society

The Society supports people aged 60 or over living in Leicester who are in need, through the provision of small grants and pensions.

Who is eligible?

People aged over 60 who live in the City of Leicester.

How to apply?

Sorry, we are unable to accept applications made directly by the individual.  A third party professional, such as a support worker, should make the application on your behalf.  All applications should be made via our host organisation Charity Link, using their standard application form:  http://charity-link.org/work-with-vulnerable-people/

Other information

Grants are typically awarded for essential items such as clothing, bedding, basic furniture and appliances, household items, and mobility equipment.  You can only receive one grant in any 12 month period.  

Occasionally, a small annual pension may also be awarded to eligible persons.
