Newman Trust Homes is a small charity giving grants relating to housing needs to help residents and former residents of Birmingham who are older or in a vulnerable situation.

Grants are given to help with furnishings, white goods, bedding, kitchen equipment and flooring.

Who is eligible?

People who live or have lived in Birmingham who are older or in a vulnerable situation.

Grants are given to help with furnishings, white goods, bedding, kitchen equipment and flooring.

What we don't give grants for

Salaries, office equipment, play/summer schemes, sports facilities, pre-school or play groups, research, education, animals, funerals, holidays, toys or debt.

How to apply?

Applications must be made by an official independent organisation, known to the Trustees, with a covering letter. The organisation must be willing to accept a grant cheque in relation to a successful applicant.

Grants requests are considered at the next scheduled Trustees' meeting, which take place every two months.

The charity only replies to successful applicants.
