Norwich Town Close Estate Charity

One-off grants for people who live in Norwich who need financial help with essentials such as decorating costs, house repairs, carpets, spectacles and dental work. Grants are occasionally given for holiday costs.

The charity also gives regular small pensions to older people, and TV licences to people under the age of 75.

Who is eligible?

People who live in Norwich and are in financial need.

How to apply?

Contact us be email, telephone or post. We will arrange to meet you to discuss your application. We will also, with your agreement, visit you in your home to discuss your specific needs when you are applying for household items.

You will need to provide evidence of your income from employment, savings and or benefits, including Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit.

Trustees consider applications quarterly: in February, April, June and October.
