Norwood supports vulnerable Jewish children and their families, children with special educational needs and adults with autism and learning disabilities.

Norwood does not usually provide grants, but offers other types of support:

  • life skills and learning courses for adults with learning disabilities, such as cooking courses and money skills
  • art therapy for adults with learning disabilities
  • short breaks for children and young people up to the age of 18 with physical and learning disabilities
  • Group parenting skills workshops
  • A free helpline for parents, carers and teachers to have confidential discussions with qualified professionals
  • Housing support for adults with learning disabilities who live in London, Hertfordshire and Berkshire
  • Advice and support on welfare benefits
