Renfrewshire Educational Trust

The Trust gives grants to primary and secondary school students living within the Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Council areas to help with educational costs. To be able to get a grant, the child needs to be entitled to free school meals. 

The Trust considers applications for:

  • school trips
  • young people who are talented in music, art or drama and need to pay for tuition to attend a course to develop their skills
  • students who are leaving secondary school and are going on to gain an educational qualification

Who is eligible?

Primary and secondary school students who need help with educational costs. The Trust is only able to consider applications for:

  • school trips
  • tuition or other course costs for young people who are talented in music, art or drama 
  • students who are leaving secondary school and are going on to gain an educational qualification

How to apply?

The Head teacher of the school should submit an application form on the student's behalf. The Head teacher should write to the Trust to find out how to apply.
