ROI Irish Veterinary Benevolent Fund (IVBF)

The Irish Veterinary Benevolent Fund (IVBF) supports veterinary professionals in the Republic of Ireland and their dependents, when they are in need.

Financial support may include:

  • Regular monthly income supplements
  • One off payments for specific purposes.
  • Short term assistance with mortgage repayments.

There is also a Veterinary Assistance Program which aims to:

  • To promote positive mental health
  • To provide support to veterinary professionals at times of need and
  • To provide crisis response at times of extreme stress.

Who is eligible?

  •  Veterinary Professionals (Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Nurses) that are employed, self-employed or retired.
  •  Dependents of Veterinary professionals.
  •  Dependents of deceased Veterinary professionals.
