Royal British Legion Women’s Section President’s Award Scheme

Grants are available for current and ex-Service women and their dependents. Dependents can include children, spouses and partners, widows or widowers, or other dependants.

Examples of funding include:

  • educational courses or re-training schemes
  • educational scholarships to help with the cost of first degrees for dependents or children under the age of 21 
  • school uniforms and winter clothing for children under the age of 16
  • children's club fees such as Guides and Scouts and essential school trips

Please note that the charity can't give grants for a postgraduate qualification or for studying overseas.

Who is eligible?

Serving and ex-service personnel and their spouses and dependants, who are in need.

'Dependants' can include children under the age of 21, spouses and partners (this category includes widows or widowers) or other dependants.
