Last updated on 6 June 2019

Who is eligible?

To receive help from the Trust you must be a resident of Sandgate in Kent and either:

  • A young family with school age children
  • An elderly person

How to apply?

The Trust prefers to receive applications online but a written hard copy sent to the Trust's contact address is acceptable.

Other information

The Sandgate Community Trust secured a grant from Kent County Council for £50,000. It has used this to provide the parish with free broadband.

The educational value of access to broadband is known (it can raise an exam pass by two grades - life changing) but the Trust recognises that free broadband is of no use if you cannot afford a computer.
