Scottish Huntington's Association

The Scottish Huntington's Association supports people living with the condition and their families who are living in Scotland.

The charity offers a short breaks fund to enable people with Huntington's and their carers to have a holiday.

Other services include:

  • Information and specialist support

  • Huntington's Road Map to help you plan your route ahead following a diagnosis of Huntington's disease

  • Financial wellbeing team

  • Partnership with Breathing Space Scotland - part of NHS 24 which provides a free, confidential helpline which is available out of normal office hours.

  • Carer and family conferences

Who is eligible?

The charity provides grants of up to £500 to enable families living with Huntington’s disease to have a break. Grants are available to people living with the symptoms of the condition, carers and young people living in Scotland.

To apply for a grant, contact your local Huntington’s Disease Specialist Service.
