Severn Trent Water - Big Difference (Social tariff)

The Big Difference Scheme helps Severn Trent Water customers without much money left at the end of the month get a reduction of between 10-90% off Severn Trent Water's average bill.

It is open to all Severn Trent Water customers, regardless of age, employment status, whether they are in receipt of benefits or not, and whether they have water arrears or not.

Eligibility is based on assessment of income and expenditure.

The scheme lasts 12 months after which customers can reapply.

It is run in partnership with the Severn Trent Trust Fund and Citizens Advice Coventry.

Documents needed

When you are ready to apply, you will need your income details (a wage slip or benefits statement) as well as information on how much you spend and your regular outgoings to hand.
