Who is eligible?
People in need who live in the City of Leicester, including those facing financial hardship, illness, or distress.
How to apply?
The charity does not accept applications made directly by the individual in need.
All applications should be made by a third party professional agency using the Charity Link application form
If you are an individual or household in need, please ask someone who is supporting you - a housing officer, support worker, probation officer, benefits adviser etc. - to make the application on your behalf. If you do not have anyone supporting you, please make an appointment with the Citizens Advice Bureau by calling their Advice Line on 0300 330 1025
Other information
Grants would typically be awarded for essential household items such as furniture, appliances, bedding and clothing. However, the Trustees may consider applications for any cost that would help to relieve the person in need, or enhance their social welfare, education, or conditions of life.
