St Monica Trust Community Fund

The Community Fund helps people aged 40 and over who have a physical disability or long-term physical health problem, are on a low income and live in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset or Bath and North East Somerset.

The Fund gives one-off grants for disability aids, white goods, furniture and flooring. The Fund sometimes gives short-term grants to help people through a crisis, such problems with benefit and tax credit claims.

Who is eligible?

 We help people who:

  • Have a physical disability or long-term physical health problem
  • Live in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset or Bath and North East Somerset
  • Have a low income and limited savings
  • Are over 40 years of age

What we can't help with

  • Holidays
  • Gardening
  • Bankruptcy fees
  • Funeral expenses
  • Decorating labour costs
  • Respite care
  • Care home fees

How to apply?

We ask everyone who wants our help to fill in an application form, which you can download from the St Monica Trust website
