Sunny Days Children's Fund

Grants for children under the age of 18 who have a life limiting medical condition, such as leukaemia, cerebral palsy, the deaf and blind or a terminal Illnesses.

The Fund gives grants for day trips, medical equipment, respite, hospital travel, or making children as comfortable as possible. See 'who is eligible' for a full list of items.

Who is eligible?

Children under the age of 18 who have a life limiting medical condition and need financial assistance. 

The Fund might help a child with Leukaemia, Cerebral Palsy, the Deaf and Blind or a terminal illness.

The Fund gives grants for: 

  • day trips
  • medical equipment
  • sensory equipment
  • respite
  • white goods, such as washing machines or tumble dryers
  • travel expenses for hospital visits
  • laptops, computers and software
  • clothing
  • holidays at Sunny Days' holiday homes

What we can't help with

  • Ipads
  • Mobile Phones
  • Holidays that are not at one of Sunny Days' Holiday Homes

How to apply?

If you wish to apply for a holiday or grant please contact the Fund explaining what you need assistance with. 

We will try to update you on the outcome of you application within six weeks of us receiving the application.
