The Aldgate Freedom Foundation

The Foundation gives grants to people in financial need who live in The Portsoken Ward Of The City Of London. Phone the Foundation if you are not sure if you live in this area.

Applicants must have less than £5,000 in savings and a limited income, for example, a government pension. The Foundation gives priority to:

  • older people
  • people who are chronically disabled
  • people of any age who are long-term sick
  • single parents with dependent children
  • people who are homeless
