The Birchington Convalescent Benefit Fund

Small grants are available for families with children under the age of 18 who are recovering from illness or suffering from a long-term illness to take a holiday or convalescent break.

Who is eligible?

Children under the age of 18 who live in the UK and are recovering from an illness or suffering from a long-term illness.

Please note that grants are rarely given for expensive or overseas holidays. 

How to apply?

The fund is administered by the Church Society. A recognised body, such as social services, a doctor or charity should apply on the child's behalf. Contact the Church Society to request an application form or download one from the website

The trustees consider applications in February, April and June.
