The BOSS Business Supplies Charity

The BOSS Business Supplies Charity assists people and their families who have worked or who currently work within the stationery or office supplies and services industry who may have fallen on hard times or are unable to work due to disability or ill health.

Anyone who has ever worked in the industry, in whatever capacity, be it for a manufacturer, retailer, dealer, wholesaler, service provider or mail order company are eligible to apply for assistance.

The Fund has helped many people through the years, by paying for new windows, school uniforms for children, mobility items or regular housekeeping costs - and many other needs.

Who is eligible?

You may be eligible if you have have a connection to the stationery or offices supplies and services industry and any of the following apply to you:

  • you cannot work due to disability/ill health
  • you struggle to provide for your family and/or pay your bills
  • you seek assistance with care fees
  • to acquire equipment and advice on state benefits.

Who we can't help

We can't help people who have worked in administration or office/secretarial work, or have only worked in other sectors.

How to apply?

Phone the Charity for an initial conversation. After the phone call, you will be offered an appointment in the comfort of your own home where a member of the fund will collect necessary information to assess your situation.

Trustees meet twice a year to review applications.
