The Byfleet United Charity

Grants are available for people who have lived in Byfleet or West Byfleet for at least one year and are in need. The charity gives grants for a variety of items or services, such as:

  • Clothing
  • Equipment for children and adults with disabilities and white goods
  • Community furniture stores vouchers
  • Mobility aids
  • Food vouchers for food banks

The charity also gives pensions to people who are above State Retirement age and have been living in the community for over one year.

Who is eligible?

People who are in need and have lived in Byfleet or West Byfleet for at least one year before applying to the grant. Applicants need to show evidence that they are in need. 

People who are above State Retirement age and have been living in the community for over one year may be eligible for a pension.

How to apply?

Individuals can apply directly, or a professional can apply on their behalf. Download an application form from the charity's website: http://byfleetunitedcharity.org.uk/community/referral-form/ and send the completed application by email or post. 

Applicants will need to provide evidence of income and expenditure, and show that they have tried to get appropriate support such as welfare benefits.

Please note that the Grants Manager will visit applicants in their homes in order to assess their need.
