Bursaries for students undertaking courses of further education (including apprenticeships, nursing students etc) beyond secondary school level. 

A small number of postgraduate scholarships is also awarded each year to exceptional students undertaking research or other advanced study beyond undergraduate level.

Applications can be considered from any person undertaking further education who has been permanently resident in Troon or Loans for more than 12 months.

Who is eligible?

Applications can be considered from any person undertaking further education who has been permanently resident in Troon or Loans for more than 12 months.

Bursaries are paid at a flat rate only.

What we don't fund

Courses of education undertaken for recreational purposes and out of pocket expenses such as university fees. 

How to apply?

Applications are accepted from individuals directly.The application forms are available from the charity contact address between 1 August and 31 March every academic year.

Bursary applications are considered between 1 August and 31 March each academic year.

Postgraduate scholarship applications are considered between 1 March and 30 June each academic year.

The charity replies to all applications, whether or not they can help.
