The City & Diocese of London Voluntary Schools Fund

Educational grants for children and young people under 25 years old who are attending Church of England Schools in the Diocese of London who need financial assistance.

Grants are usually given to help with the costs of school journeys/field trips, music tuition and maintenance costs which are not normally available from statutory funding.

Who is eligible?

Children and young people under the age of 25 who have attended a Church of England school l in the Diocese of London for at least 2 years and are in financial need. Please note that grants are only given for educational costs such as school journeys/field trips, music tuition and maintenance costs.

Grants are not given for anything that is available from statutory sources, or for anything that has already been paid for.

How to apply?

  • Applications for a grant for a school’s group journey must be made by the school using the current Group grant application form.
  • Individual applicants of age 16 and over must complete their own form.
  • For applicants under 16, parents/guardians must complete the form and sign it on the child’s behalf.
