The Clackmannan District Charitable Trust

Grants for people in need who have lived in Clackmannanshire for at least twelve months. Grants are also for people who have lived there for at least six months before their application is considered, as long as they lived there for three years some time in the past. Grants are usually made for essential household items (e.g. electric cooker, washing machine, fridge, beds and bedding etc).

Who is eligible?

People in need who have lived in Clackmannanshire for 12 consecutive months preceding the application being considered or who have lived in Clackmannanshire for three years at some time in the past and continuously for the six consecutive months preceding the application being considered.

Please note: Individuals must have applied to Scottish Welfare Fund within Clackmannashire Council and been refused items before they are eligible to apply to The Clackmannan District Charitable Trust.

Individuals can download an application from the Clackmannan Council website: http://www.clacks.gov.uk/community/clackmannancharitabletrust/

The Trustees consider applications twice a year, usually in March and September.
