The Elizabeth Clarke Relief-in-Need Fund & The Wigston Relief-in-Need Fund

The fund aims to provide relief for individuals resident in all Wards in Wigston, other than South Wigston, who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by making grants or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of such persons.

Who is eligible?

Applicants should be resident in the urban district of Wigston and be able to show a need for relief.

The Elizabeth Clarke Relief in need fund works closely with The Wigston Relief-in-Need Fund and often large grants are paid from both funds. However, grants from the Elizabeth Clarke Relief-in-Need Fund can only be given to those who live in the All Saints, Central, Westfield and Wolstan's wards of the urban district of Wigston.
