The Exeter Relief-in-Need

Exeter Relief-in-Need Charity make grants to help people who are in need and live within a 10 mile radius of Exeter centre (Guildhall).

Grants are given to help with the costs of household effects, white goods, carpets, school uniforms or heating bills.

Who is eligible?

People who are in need and live within a 10 mile radius of Exeter centre (Guildhall).

Grants are given to help with the costs of household effects, white goods, carpets, school uniforms or heating bills.

We do not give cash grants. Payments are made to suppliers only.

What we can't help with

Grants are NOT given to help with bills that have already been paid, debts in arrears, retrospective payments or court fines.

Application forms are available by contacting our office and are dispatched by post or email.

Application process

Grants are means tested and all applicants are interviewed by one of our directors, whose decision is final.

The charity replies to all enquiries, whether or not they can help.
