The Fluck Convalescent Fund

The Fund gives grants to children under the age of 16 who:

  • live in the city of Gloucester or its surrounding area
  • are in poor health or are recovering after an illness or operation
  • need financial assistance

The Fund also gives grants to women of all ages who live in the area. Applicants need to be in poor health or recovering from an illness to be able to apply.

Grants are usually given to help with the cost of educational trips. Grants can also be given to help with essential items such as bedding, furniture, white goods, and disability aids.

Who is eligible?

One-off grants for children under 16 who live in the city of Gloucester and its surrounding area.

How to apply?

Individuals should not apply directly. Instead, a professional, such as a health professional or social worker, should apply on the child's behalf.

Please write to or email the charity to ask for an application form. 

Applications are considered throughout the year.
