The Francis Bernard Caunt Education Trust

Educational grants for young people aged between 16 and 25 years who (or whose parents or guardians) live within a 12 mile radius of Newark Parish Church to pursue further or higher education. Applicants should have attended Newark schools or colleges or Southwell or Tuxford schools for at least two years. Applicants must be intending to study an academic or vocational course for at least a year.

Who is eligible?

Educational grants for young people aged between 16 and 25 years who (or whose parents or guardians) live within a 12 mile radius of Newark Parish Church. The applicant should live in Newark or the surrounding areas and attend Newark schools or colleges or Southwell or Tuxford schools. The applicant must have attended one of those institutions in the previous 8 years and for a period of at least 2 years. The applicant should be intending to study either part-time or full-time for at least 1 year on a recognised academic/vocational course.
