The George Drexler Foundation

The George Drexler Foundation provides educational grants to UK citizens in need and grants awarded are made for costs associated with undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Either the student or the student's parents or grandparents must have worked in, or owned, a commercial business. Please note that the Foundation will not fund medical electives, volunteering, study abroad, part time study or gap year projects.

Who is eligible?

Applicants must be:

  • UK citizens
  • Be enrolled on a recognised educational course in the UK
  • Have worked in or owned a commercial business, or have parents or grandparents who have

We do not fund medical electives, volunteering, study abroad, part time study or gap year projects. Commercial business does not include professional people, such as doctors, accountants, architects, solicitors, etc.

We only accept applications via our online application process and we do not accept emailed applications.

We are open for applications between 1 December and 31 March each year. No applications will be accepted outside of this period.
