The Guildry Incorporation of Perth (Grants for members)

The charity provides pensions and coal allowances on a means-tested basis to members, their widows, civil partners or unmarried daughters that apply to the Committee of Management once they have received State Retirement age. If a member passes away, the payment can be transferred to their widow.

The Guildry may also provide one-off grants to members under State Retirement age who are unable to work due to disability or are in extreme financial difficulties.

Bursaries are also awarded to members or children of members who apply for assistance towards the costs of attending a full-time course at a university or college in the UK.

Who is eligible?

Members of the Guildry Incorporation of Perth and their dependents. See the description above for details of the different schemes and eligibility.

Assistance to members is only available after five years membership if aged 40 or under or after three years' membership if aged over 40.
