The Hampton Wick United Charity

The Charity gives grants to people who are in financial need who live in one of the following areas:

  • St. John The Baptist In Hampton Wick
  • St. Mark in Teddington
  • St. Mary with St Alban in Teddington

Grants are given for essential items. As an example, the Charity has provided grants for the following:

  • The purchase of a wheelchair
  • Travelling expenses to enable the recipient to visit relatives in hospital
  • Certain items of medical equipment not available on the NHS
  • Repairs to heating
  • The purchase of furniture
  • The restoration of a small boat for local sea scout group
  • Assistance with tutorial fees and accommodation costs at university
  • The purchase of a television set

The Charity gives grants to people who are in financial need who live in one of the following areas:

  • St. John The Baptist In Hampton Wick
  • St. Mark in Teddington
  • St. Mary with St Alban in Teddington

How to apply?

Applications are normally considered by the trustees three times a year, but in the case of an emergency, special arrangements are made to consider the request without delay. 

The affairs of the Charity are always dealt with confidentially and in a sympathetic and compassionate way.
