The Institute of Clayworkers Benevolent Fund

Financial grants for people from the clayworking industry who have had to retire early, or have been unable to work for some time due to accident or ill-health. Pensioners from within the industry, and dependants of deceased clayworkers may also be eligible. The Fund covers brickmaking, clay roof tiles, clay drainage pipes and refractory industries.

Who is eligible?

Employees, both past and present, from the clayworking industry who have had to retire early or been unable to work for some time because of ill-health or an accident and are in financial need. Pensioners from within the industry, and dependants of deceased clayworkers may also be eligible. The Fund covers the brickmaking, clay roof tiles, clay drainage pipes and refractory industries.

The Fund accepts applications direct from individuals.  Please contact the Institute for further details and an application form.
