The John James Rowe Foundation

Grants are available for girls and young women aged 11 to 25 who live in Merseyside. To be able to apply, they should also be in one of the following situations:

  • Have a difficult home life
  • Have at least one parent who has passed away
  • Their parents are separated or divorced

Grants are to assist with the costs of education or training, for example with the costs of clothing, equipment, trips, or boarding fees.

Who is eligible?

Girls and young women aged 11 to 25 who live in Merseyside, particularly Knowsley, the borough of Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens or Wirral.

To be able to apply, they should also be in one of the following situations:

  • Have a difficult home life
  • Have at least one parent who has passed away
  • Their parents are separated or divorced

How to apply?

Write to the Foundation explaining how you are eligible and what you need assistance with. 

Applications are considered all year round, and the Trustees consider applications every other month.
